Within a few weeks, the young cycling talents will once again line up at the start of Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne Juniors, a race that has already produced many legends in the making. Last year, Belgian Aldo Taillieu crowned himself winner, followed by Seth Dunwoody and Erazem Valjavec in second and third place. We wonder: who will follow Taillieu on the prestigious honor roll, which also features names such as Remco Evenepoel, Geraint Thomas, Cian Uijtdebroeks and Jarno Widar?
Looking back at the 2024 edition
The 24th edition of Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne Juniors took place on Sunday, February 25, 2024 and included a challenging 122.5 km route around Kuurne. Aldo Taillieu, riding for Air College – B-Concept, showed his talent by taking the victory. This achievement places him in a line of illustrious former winners such as Remco Evenepoel, Geraint Thomas, Cian Uijtdebroeks and Jarno Widar.
Who will be Aldo Taillieu’s successor?
With the upcoming edition, we wonder who the next champion will be. Will a new talent emerge to add their name to the prestigious honor roll? The tension rises as race day approaches, and we look forward to a new generation of riders who want to make their mark on this iconic junior race.
